 James and Sonja Heeringa are passionate about the importance of quality, accessible health care and the ability to coordinate this care while remaining in your own home.
Living in Waterdown with their three children for the last 15 years James and Sonja have their roots in the Hamilton area and are very familiar with the area and its amenities. As a Christian family they strive to serve others as a means to live out their faith.
Using the established model of Retire-At-Home, developed by Irene Martin, RN they are excited to bring this expertise to their area to provide seniors with a complete solution of Personal Home Care Services. James’ background in the hospitality industry over the past twenty years and Sonja’s expertise in managing the day to day affairs of a family based business provide them with a strong foundation to organize and advocate for home health care and independent living resources so that seniors can enjoy their retirement in the comfort of their home.
As a couple they have experience in negotiating the health care system through personal experiences with family and have added to that the wealth of experience of the Retire-At-Home team so that they can offer a comprehensive care program for you to maintain your independence.
